Remodit Privacy Policy

Information you provide

Remodit can be used without creating an account for many Free features. If you create an account, Remodit may collect information you provide such as your name, email address, phone number, authentication information, and communication preferences.

Project and estimate information

Projects and estimates are stored on your device. If you are signed in with Remodit Pro, project data may also be stored in Remodit's cloud service so it can be backed up, restored, and synchronized across supported devices. Project cover photos currently remain stored locally on the device and are not included in cloud project sync.

Photos and camera access

If you choose to add a project photo, Remodit may request access to your photo library or camera. Access is requested only when you initiate a photo-related action.

Purchases

Remodit Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Remodit receives transaction and entitlement information needed to verify Pro access, but Remodit does not receive your full payment-card details.

Feedback and feature requests

If you submit feedback, bug reports, or feature requests, Remodit stores the content you provide along with limited technical context needed to review and prioritize the submission. If you are signed in, feedback may be associated with your Remodit account.

How information is used

• Provide Remodit features, account access, cloud backup, restore, and synchronization.
• Verify Remodit Pro purchase entitlements.
• Save communication preferences you choose.
• Review feedback, diagnose problems, and improve calculators and product features.
• Protect the security and integrity of Remodit services.

Service providers

Remodit uses third-party service providers for functions such as authentication, cloud database services, App Store distribution and purchases, and website hosting. These providers process information as needed to provide their services and are subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

Marketing and communications

Optional marketing and referral communications are controlled by the preferences you choose in Remodit. You can change those preferences from your account settings.

Account deletion

You can initiate permanent deletion of your Remodit account from the Account screen in the app. Account deletion removes the Remodit authentication account and associated cloud projects, profile information, communication preferences, feedback associations, feature-request associations, and server-side Pro entitlement record. App Store purchase records are maintained by Apple and are not deleted by Remodit.

Data retention

Remodit retains account and cloud data while your account remains active or as needed to provide the service. Data associated with an account is removed when account deletion is completed, except where retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or records maintained independently by a third-party provider such as Apple.

Your choices

You may use supported Free features without an account, decline optional photo access, change communication preferences, sign out, or delete your Remodit account from within the app.
